DESCRIPTION:The Flood Resiliency Task Force has received a report and recommendations from our engineering consultants on mitigating future flood damage in the village. \nCabot Flood Mitigation Report \nWe invite you to a public information session this coming Monday\, Nov 4\, from 6-8 p.m. on the third floor of the Willey Building. \nA remote option is available via Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82901513181?pwd=Vy3H5KG3U9wKFY5sKuDZQJbRMHiOWe.1 \nCabot’s consultants\, SLR\, will present their modeling of the two tributaries affecting the village\, their findings from applying that tool to measure impacts from a range of extreme rainfall events\, how various mitigation strategies could moderate the flooding impacts\, which then leads to recommendations for town action. \nMost of the time will be for moderated questions and answers with our consultants.
