DESCRIPTION:CABOT RESIDENTS ONLY – BULKY ITEM DISPOSAL \n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 27\, 2025\n\n\n\nHours: 8:00 am-12:00 pm \n\n\n\n153 Sawmill Road\, Cabot\, VT \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAcceptable materials include\, but are not limited to: \n\n\n\n\nMattresses\n\n\n\nBox Springs\n\n\n\nRugs & Carpet Treated Wood\n\n\n\nPlywood           \n\n\n\nCouches\n\n\n\nChairs\n\n\n\nToilets \n\n\n\nSinks\n\n\n\nLarge Kid’s Toys\n\n\n\nSheetrock Fiberglass \n\n\n\nPainted Wood\n\n\n\nLarge Appliances\n\n\n\n\nUnacceptable materials include\, but are not limited to: \n\n\n\nCars\, boats\, campers\, hazardous wastes\, and household trash.  \n\n\n\nIf it fits into a trash bag\, it is not bulky waste. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTires are acceptable for a fee: up to 17” $5.00; \n\n\n\n Larger tires: 18-20” $7.00; (please no tractor tires!) \n\n\n\nThere will be a container for metal materials. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLeaving items at the site at other times is considered illegal disposal and is subject to enforcement action. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFor questions concerning acceptable materials\, recycling opportunities\, and household hazardous waste disposal please contact John Cookson\, 802-279-2466 or Cabot Town Clerk’s office 802-563-2279.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLimited to Cabot Residents Only  \n\n\n\n(We will be checking residency!) \n\n\n\nThere is a limit of one pick-up truckload per household \n\n\n\nPlease no businesses
